CHALLENGE

Develop an ordering portal that will accept orders via a file exchange as well as through on-line orders.

SOLUTION

Create a simple ordering interface to separate inventory and allow easy inventory transfers, with reporting of inventory, orders and tracking. Develop a custom Web portal and back end system that allows orders to be received and have inventory processed per the Sony business rules.

RESULT

Visibility to inventory is now available for general ordering and headquarters, with the ability to interface with other ordering systems as needed. In addition, the system allows for quick response to change requests and updates.
